Hello Evil Backers,
We have a pretty huge update for you! We know things have been a little quiet, but we still appreciate the ongoing support. In a way, quiet means we’re doing everything how you want us to, so for that reason, we feel good! That being said, it also means it may feel on your end like things have come to a sort of halt, and we want to be clear that’s not what’s going on. So, we have MANY new free and discounted stuff just for you, so buckle up for this one!
All Physical Tiers Get a FREE CUSTOM d20 For 48 Hours!
You read that headline correctly! If you back the campaign in the next 48 hours at a tier that has physical goods, you get a free custom d20 added to your order! Backers of physical goods who have been here since day 1, do not fear. You all get the d20 too! We’re making custom d20s with the Evil Genius logo on the 20. Check out this mockup!

Let me say that again so it’s extra clear. All current backers who have backed physical goods get a free d20 for being awesome and supporting us AND all NEW backers that back tiers with physical goods in the next 48 hours ALSO get that free d20! I know I’m not the only one who has been in the following scenario:

Roll20 and Foundry Add-ons!
We’ve heard your demand for more digital versions of our games, and we’re bringing those options at a discounted price to this campaign! We have so many new add-ons for you to suit your various digital needs, and all of them are discounted from their retail price JUST FOR YOU BACKERS! You can now add the Everyday Heroes upcoming Roll20 version to your order for just $20! This version of Everyday Heroes is not yet released, but getting it now from our campaign at the discounted price means you will get it as soon as it becomes available later on this year. We know a lot of you are playing your ttrpgs on Roll20, so we’re making the game more accessible to all your different gameplay needs. We’re also creating an add-on for you to add Everyday Heroes to Foundry if that's more your fancy! This will also be $20, discounted from what it currently retails. The Foundry version of Everyday Heroes is available RIGHT NOW, so you’ll be able to download this as soon as you complete your pledges in BackerKit after the campaign.
And that’s not all! Although we’re not able to bring the new Cinematic Adventure Paths of this campaign to Foundry or Roll20, much our dismay, we are able to offer backers of this campaign discounted versions of the Kong: Skull Island and Pacific Rim Cinematic Adventure add-ons that we have for Foundry and will have for Roll20! When you back this campaign, you can get those versions for just $16 as an add-on.
You can add these RIGHT NOW in the campaign! They look a little ugly without a picture, but our graphic artist Kat is working on them, and they’ll look nice and spiffy by the morning ^_^

We know the stretch goal still seems like a ways away, but we’re hoping that with all these new additions and that INCREDIBLY rad custom d20 to new backers, we’ll be able to get there faster. I’d like to remind you all that if we hit that $110,000 stretch goal, we add two new monsters to the game, Rock Bugs for Skull Island and Yankbone for Pacific Rim, AND the folios that are now a $15 add-on in BackerKit become free with every physical pledge!
Hitting this stretch goal would be huge for everyone. Free Folios? Free d20s for more players? We are doing our best to not only make this campaign exciting for all of you but to also deck out your gameplay experience. Let There Be Folios! + Second Stretch Goal

Hello Evil Backers,
Because of all of your confidence in us, we were able to hit our goal of 80k. Woop woop! We did it overnight! Let’s dive into what that all means.
Folios Will Be Available in Backerkit for $15!
Kickstarters rely on their community to succeed, and you all have brought such positive energy to your upcoming adventures! Thank you for helping us achieve this goal. So, as of right now, after the campaign is over, both the Kong: Skull Island and Pacific Rim folios will be available as an add-on in BackerKit for $15. Deck out your party with matching folios to fit the vibe and aesthetic of the worlds you’ll be diving in! At Evil Genius Games, we’re all about enveloping you in a full fledged story, not just with what each player is doing, but also what they’re doing it with. These folios absolutely help you do that. Use them to transform your entire table into the adventure!
As you know, it doesn’t stop there. Now that we’ve hit our first goal, it’s on to the next! Check this one out!
New Monsters! One Beast and One Kaiju!
What’s scarier than entering a jungle full of monsters? I’ll tell you. Entering a jungle full of monsters where some of them don’t even look like monsters! This new beast we’re adding to the Skull Island Bestiary is the perfect addition to make those hairs at the back of your neck wish they had a hand to hold. We’re adding Rock Bugs.
Rock Bugs are disguised as innocent rocks when at rest, but when hunting, that all gets flipped on its head. This terrifying bug can split the rock open to reveal a glittering interior that it uses to fascinate an observer while it closes in to pull them into the broken shell and close around the unsuspecting victim. Make sure to give these tricksters a second glance when you’re on your journey or they’ll gobble you and your party right up!
Don’t worry Pacific Rim fans. This goal has something for you too! Something we feel has spurred more than a nightmare or two. Introducing, Yankbone!
Yankbone is a brightly colored creature with the head of a Black Dragonfish and the body of an Eel. As if that wasn’t terrifying enough by itself, it wraps around a Jaeger's legs or torso, grappling them and crushing them. We’ve all been there (aka seen the film) so you know that falling from the height of a jaeger or being crushed in the air at that height is a huge damper on your path to glory. Help us get to $110,000 so we can bring these terrifying monsters to the game! This stretch goal is a content stretch goal, so these monsters are being added to your game at no additional cost, only additional fun.
Both of these monsters are entirely new to the universe, so we're so happy that we get to unveil them in our game. They are also so bone chilling that our artists are still working on their design, so as soon as we've got some good sketches, we’ll post those for you all to see!
But, you’ll probably remember from the other stretch goal that that’s not the only thing that happens when we hit that mark. If we get to the $110,000 goal, not only will these monsters be added to the game, but also, the folios we just added will become a FREE ADDITION to every pledge that contains physical goods. Every single one! If your pledge has physical books in it, you’re getting a folio. If your pledge has both of the physical books in it, you’re getting two folios, one of each!
We know that you may also still want to suit up your party, so you are also able to add up to 5 additional folios to your order for the $15 (each) we unlocked last night. Everyone in your campaign can have all the matching gear they need!
Reminders
Here’s a couple of points I wanted to remind you all of going forward:
The Gipsy Danger minis are going to be in the BackerKit! They’ll be $15 plus shipping for those who did not back first day and free for those who did. If you're already getting a free one, you can add another to your pledge, but we will be putting a quantity cap on this to make sure everyone can get one.
Retailers NEED TO EMAIL ME to verify retailer status or your order could be dropped! Please send me an email to [email protected] so I can verify your store. It’s a super simple process, so don’t sweat it.
Also, for Retailers, remember that your pledge also comes with the digital books, so please remember to offer those to your in-store customers when they get the game! We’ll be making that available to all retailers using Bits and Mortar.

Allow yourselves at least ten minutes for a victory dance because WE DID IT PEOPLE! In just 45 minutes, you all helped us hit our funding goal! Thank you so much for supporting us and wanting to play our game. Nothing feels better as game creators than making a game that you think is fun, showing it to your community and your friends, and they agree! So, hats off to every single one of you. Thank you. We literally couldn’t do it without you.
So, onto the steady incline of the campaign! Funding isn’t all we need from you, and it’s certainly not all the fun we have in store. Hold on tight because we really think you’re going to like our first stretch goal!
Cinematic Adventure Folios at 80k
Our first stretch goal is for folios to accompany you on your tabletop adventures! Who else here has started an RPG they’re very excited about, they’ve got their dice all ready and everything is matching and cute, and then they pull out that 8.5” x 11” printer paper crumpled character sheet from their backpack? Well, not anymore, my friends. These character folios will really amplify your gaming experience! A dossier designed perfectly for each universe, one for Kong and one for Pacific Rim, and inside, all cozy and protected, you’ll find specially formatted character sheets for the game as well!
Help us get to 80k, and you’ll be able to add these folios to your pledge for $19.99! I know I’m not the only one who likes to keep everything for each of my campaigns all neat and tidy. These are perfect for that! Arrive at your bi-weekly session prepared and in-style with these custom folios!
And, It won’t necessarily be $19.99 forever. If we get to the stretch goal after this one (which will be free additional content for your games), these same folios become JUST $5 in the BackerKit.
