Hello Friends,
In the last quick update, I let you know that we would keep you updated with timelines for shipping, especially since we have more parts of the project on the way from China. So here is a quick but exciting update about US, CA, and Mexico books:
Shipping
The warehouse had previously let us know that shipping costs would be more reasonable if we waited for additional items that are already en route.
At this point, we’ve made our decision: we’re moving forward anyway.
Getting your rewards into your hands matters more to us than staying within the original shipping budget. You’ve all been incredibly patient, far more patient than we could have asked and we know the wait has been frustrating.
So we’re doing everything we can to get these items out to you as quickly as possible, even if it means going beyond what we originally planned on our end.
Budgets are incredibly important, especially for a small company like ours. Going over them isn’t something we take lightly, and it’s not easy to recover from.
But at the end of the day, our backers are our lifeblood. You made this project possible, and we’re going to push for you in every way we can—even if that means going beyond what we originally planned.
I've confirmed shipping continues today! If someone does not receive their books by April 3, send an email to [email protected] so we can track your shipment.
Dice Bags
I wanted to add on as well that for those backers who were affected by the dice bag issue, the poll proved undeniably that a simple replacement of the bags is all that is needed so we are getting those replacements taken care of now.

Quick Shipping update for books in CA, US, and Mexico

Hello to our friends in the US, Canada, and Mexico,
We know many of you are still waiting on books from the Legendary Bundle, and we want to start by acknowledging your patience. We understand the frustration with these delays, and we truly appreciate you sticking with us while we work through the final stages of fulfillment.
We do have some good news to share. The folios, folders, and maps have officially shipped from our manufacturer—great news and a big step forward!
To help reduce additional shipping costs and avoid multiple shipments, we were advised to coordinate the delivery of these items with the final batch of books still being fulfilled through our warehouse. Rather than sending items separately, this allows us to combine shipments and get everything to you more efficiently.
Right now, we are finalizing the exact shipping costs and confirming timelines with our partners so we can provide you with a clear and accurate delivery window.
We will have our next update for you no later than April 1, where we will share confirmed timelines and next steps.
We know delays like this are frustrating, especially when you’ve been waiting for quite some time. Please know that we are actively working to get everything into your hands as quickly and smoothly as possible.

Hello Evil Freinds, Let's jump right in to our March Update!
Books – Shipping Update
We are aware that some backers are still missing their Legendary books, and we want to address that directly.
The delay occurred due to a miscount on our end. We believed the first shipment would cover all outstanding orders, but our distributor exhausted that inventory sooner than expected and had to pause fulfillment while waiting for the secondary shipment to arrive.
Now that inventory levels have been corrected, fulfillment is set to resume. With GAMA Expo 2026 happening this week, the final push to complete remaining shipments will begin March 9th. We expect the last group of book-only orders to roll out within the next two weeks.
We appreciate your patience while we corrected this and got everything back on track.
Non-Book Items
Other physical items from the campaign are still in China. Our goal is to move these into the next shipping wave as soon as possible. We will share freight updates as soon as they are confirmed.
Collector’s Boxes & Miniatures
There will be a continued delay with the Collector’s Boxes and minis.
Due to tariff changes and increased manufacturing costs, we made the responsible decision to change manufacturers. Our new manufacturer is currently working on samples so we can verify quality. While this does extend the timeline, it ensures we can produce these items sustainably without compromising quality.
With Chinese New Year recently concluded, manufacturing and shipping operations in China are ramping back up. Once production schedules stabilize and we receive updated timelines from the new manufacturer, we will share more concrete information.
We truly appreciate your patience while we navigate these global manufacturing adjustments.
Handmade Dice Bags – Important Update for Affected Backers
This section applies to the approximately 120 backers who ordered the special handmade dice bags ONLY.
After many months of attempting to contact Mischief Loot regarding the dice bags that were produced and paid for, we have unfortunately been unable to re-establish communication or receive the inventory.
Rather than leaving you in limbo, we are shifting our focus to solutions.
Once the team returns from GAMA Expo 2026, we will email all affected backers directly with a poll to determine your preference for replacement fulfillment.
Here are the options currently under consideration:
Option 1: Alternative Dice Bag
We would produce a replacement bag through a different manufacturer. While it would not be hand-stitched, it would be an alternative created specifically to fulfill this campaign item.
Option 2: Physical Copy of a New Release
We would send you a physical copy of one of our upcoming 2026 adventure releases. High Heaven launches a new season of ten cinematic adventures coming to retail this year.
Synopsis:

While we understand this is not the handmade dice bag originally ordered, the retail value is nearly equivalent, and we are committed to getting something meaningful into your hands.
Once the poll results are in, we will move quickly toward fulfilling whichever option is selected (majority rule).

Legendary Bundle Update
We wanted to share a progress update on the Legendary Bundle, including physical shipments, manufacturing status, and digital items.
Books – Shipping Progress
We have begun receiving reports of backers in the Americas starting to receive their new books, including Dominion of Iron, Isle of the Damned, and the codices. We’re glad to see these shipments moving.
We do apologize for any delays some of you have experienced. Severe winter weather in the northern United States caused significant disruptions, with snowstorms temporarily halting or slowing shipments to many areas for a short period of time. Shipments have since resumed and are continuing to move.
Dice, Folios, Map Packs, & Pawns
We’re excited to share that dice, folios, map packs, and pawns are currently in mass production, and we have some great samples to show you. I would love to show you all the sample videos, but quick snippets will have to do since we cannot upload a video into this update! These items are expected to be completed before Chinese Lunar New Year.
Once manufacturing is complete, these items will begin shipping to various regions around the world. From the start of shipping, delivery typically takes approximately 6-8 weeks.
Collector’s Tins
The collector’s tins have encountered some challenges. Our original manufacturer increased pricing for these items, which required us to seek alternative production options. Combined with current tariff conditions, production for this portion of the project has been significantly slowed.
We appreciate your patience as we work through these challenges and will continue to share updates as progress is made.
Full Disclosure: Dice Bags
We want to be transparent about the status of the Mischief Loot dice bags included in the Legendary Bundle. While this affects a smaller subset of backers who included this item in their order, we believe it’s important to share a clear update with everyone.
We have reached out to Mischief Loot multiple times in an effort to determine the status of these items. Unfortunately, we have not received a response despite repeated attempts to connect.
These dice bags have already been paid for. At this time, the difficulty lies in obtaining the items and moving them into fulfillment, rather than any outstanding payment or action on the backer side.
Given the current lack of communication, we are reassessing how to proceed and whether a continued partnership is feasible. The Evil Genius team is reviewing the situation internally and considering possible paths forward.
We understand this is frustrating, and we appreciate your patience. We will share updates if and when new information becomes available.

Addresses: Email requests to change addresses cannot be granted at this time as orders have already been sent to the distributors. Please double-check your address now in your crowdfund profile, and consider mail/package forwarding if you’ve moved or will move soon.

Shipping update for Europe and the Americas

Hello Friends,
I want to begin this update with a sincere apology to our European backers. There was a breakdown in communication between Evil Genius Games and our UK distributor, Zatu, which led us to believe that the following books had already shipped to you: Dominion of Iron, Isle of the Damned, Creature Codex, and the Jaeger Codex. Unfortunately, that was not the case.
When we last discussed shipments, the confirmation we received was that the books had arrived at their warehouse, not that they had already been sent out. Once this discrepancy was identified, we worked directly with the distributor to determine the fastest way to correct the situation.
To resolve this immediately, I have sent Zatu a new order form, and they will be uploading European backer orders today. This means shipments should begin going out by the end of the week.
I want to sincerely thank our European backers who spoke up about missing orders. Your communication helped us recognize that this was a larger issue rather than an isolated delay, and we are truly grateful that you brought it to our attention. I also want to apologize again for the frustration and stress this has caused. Your patience and understanding mean more to us than I can adequately express.
For our backers in the Americas (the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and surrounding regions), the distributor is still in the process of uploading orders into their system. Due to the sheer number of backers in these regions, this process is taking additional time as orders are picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. Thank you all so much for your continued patience as this work continues.
Every single member of this community plays a vital role in our success. Without your support, trust, and continued belief in us, we simply would not be here.
