Hey Evil Backers,
I hope everyone has been doing well! Those who celebrated any holidays during the past month, I hope your festivities were light and joyful! Christmas is normal for my household, so we were able to enjoy time with the family and share a few gifts with one another. We then brought in the New Year with friends and shared traditions! For those who know… I never thought that eating 12 grapes in 12 seconds would be as difficult as it was. Now, let’s get started with a much needed update.
Fulfillment
You all have been asking and waiting, so let me help quell some of those nerves. There is a lot of great news and a little bit of not-so-great news to share about our amazing books in the Legendary Bundle!
The good news: Pacific Rim: Dominion of Iron has been approved and is heading to the printer! We will begin work on making an accessible PDF shortly, which means we could potentially start releasing the PDF for Dominion of Iron in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, Kong: Creature Codex is nearing completion as well. The layout is almost complete and it should also be ready for the printer soon! Following the Codex will be Kong: Isle of the Damned, which is currently headed to layout. When layout is finished and proofreading done, we can send it out for printing!
The not-so-great news: The Jaeger Codex is still waiting on the last piece of artwork approval from Legendary before we can move forward with layout. But just as soon as we get that approval from Legendary, we will keep pressing forward to get the bundle done as quickly as possible. The finish line is so close and we are beyond excited to have this goal in our sights! This does mean that our current shipment schedule is e now slated for a Q2 fulfillment. While we can’t put an exact date on shipment just yet, our goal falls within the April to June 2025 range.
Art
As stated above, we are waiting on Legendary’s approval of the last piece of art, which is due any day now. But don’t you worry…I was given the green light to share a few sneak peek pages with you all. Check them out below!

Even though the following information was in the last update, please read it through carefully. Make sure that you have everything that you need and that you are also prepared to receive digital products from us in the future.
1 - Everyone who has purchased Season One Cinematic Adventures as add-ons (Kong: Skull Island and Pacific Rim): the PDFs have already been emailed to you via DriveThruRPG.
***These two PDFs are NOT the same as the two books that are being completed now and discussed in the fulfillment section above. The new books are Kong: Isle of the Damned and Pacific Rim: Dominion of Iron.***
2 - The Jaeger STL files have been sent via email to backers who purchased them as add-ons. These STLs include Saber Athena, KnifeHead, Guardian Bravo, November Ajax, and Bracer Phoenix. Gypsy Danger is a physical mini that will be shipped with the rest of your physical order once the new books and other items have finished printing.
3 - Please note that we always use the same email address that you used during your pledge to send your digital products to you. So, if you do not have a DriveThruRPG account (these are free to create), have a DriveThruRPG account under a different email, or have changed your email since your pledge, this may have caused issues with your deliveries.
So, if you believe you are missing any of these digital items, email us at [email protected]. In your email, please include your full name, Kickstarter email address, and the issue you are having with your order.

With regard to the recent natural disasters that some of our friends are experiencing, we cannot begin to comprehend the difficulties and displacement that you are facing. Announcing Nacho CONline!
NACHO CONline 2025 is the first annual online convention for all Everyday Heroes, sponsored by Evil Genius Games and the Evil Genius Games Organized-Play (E.G.O.) Program.
We suffered a great personal and professional loss over the holidays. Our beloved Lead Editor and Proofreader, Awen Rowan-Nelson, passed away on December 23rd. Awen’s rigorous attention to detail and to excellence made a huge impact on the quality of our final products and left a legacy to which we will continue to aspire. Besides editing, Awen co-authored the EGG World Bible that led to the creation of Intergalactic Heroes, the Evil Genius House Style Guide, and the Evil Genius Technology Code of Ethics. You can read about her remarkable life and work at Evil Genius Games in the interviews that she did for our blogs about her role as Lead Editor and in crafting the Technology Code of Ethics.
Awen’s passing also leaves an enormous hole in the life of her husband, colleague, collaborator, and co-author for twenty-five years, Eric Nelson, our Organized-Play Manager for E.G.O. With Awen’s passing, Eric has not only suffered a devastating personal loss, but he now faces enormous financial challenges in settling her affairs, paying medical bills, and coping with the sudden loss of income. Please, if you can, contribute to and share with your networks the GoFundMe that his daughter has set up to help him cope with the challenges in the days ahead. Every bit of support makes a huge difference, and we fully support this effort.
In fact, Evil Genius Games and the volunteers who are putting on the upcoming Nacho Conline, are dedicating the convention to her memory in appreciation of her work and in support of the GoFundMe effort. So, please—come celebrate and honor one of our Everyday Heroes at Nacho Conline, and lend your support to the effort to ease the way ahead for Eric.
I appreciate being able to be as transparent as we can about the status of our team and products that you put so much faith in. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for being a part of our community, for being amazing people, and for sticking with us even when there is darkness overhead. The sunshine will poke through eventually, but for now, things are looking gray as we navigate 2025 without one of our dearest friends. Grief takes time, but we promise that we are still pushing forward and brighter days are ahead.

Hello Evil Backers!
The end of year Holidays are here and we wanted to share with you one last update for 2024. After this, the next update will come January 9th. So take a look at the latest news for the Legendary Bundle! ...and a few other exciting things. :D
Fulfilment
We are still slated for a late February 2025 ship date. If this changes, we will notify everyone immediately! Our hope is that we can get the files completed and off to the printer on time to make this shipping date... but as the days progress and we still have some art coming in, chances are slimming up. Do not fear! The games will still be completed, we might just have to push the ship date a little. For now, though, we are sticking with late February 2025.
Jaeger Codex Layout/Art
Bryan has given me permission to share some pages of the Jaeger Codex with you all!!! I am so excited for you to see these and how the layout is looking. I am thrilled to be able to play some Pacific Rim when the new books are released and I hope this sneak peak gets you extra pumped too!
Pacific Rim: Blackout Era
Check out this cool new book we will be working on! This project just got the green light from Legendary, so in addition to the Legendary Bundle, we have another digital-only Pacific Rim book on the way: Pacific Rim: Blackout Era!
Pacific Rim: Blackout Era is a brand new digital Cinematic Sourcebook that provides heroes and GMs alike with rules and options specific to the Blackout Era! Kaijutech Jaegers, hybrid biology, Blackout Era Kaiju, adventure hooks to use all of them, as well as rules to create and play heroic, player-controlled Kaiju in the Pacific Rim Cinematic Adventures roleplaying setting can be found within these pages.
The Cinematic Sourcebook is split into four amazing parts:
Part I: New Player Options contains origins, backgrounds, professions, and feats available to heroes in the Blackout Era.
Part II: Kaijutech introduces new Kaijutech weapons and upgrades for Jaegers, as well as Kaijutech personal equipment usable outside of a Jaeger.
Part III: Heroic Kaiju adds rules for creating heroic Kaiju that fight on the side of humanity, as well as rules for controlling them.
Part IV: Game Mastering in the Blackout Era gives advice on running adventures in the Blackout Era, sample adventure hooks, and NPC stat blocks for Kaijutech Jaegers, Kaiju from the Blackout Era, and members of the Sisters of the Kaiju.
We do not have a release date set for this project, but we would like to aim for sometime next year.

Super excited to get you some news on the Legendary Bundle, so let's get started!
Fulfillment
This is always the biggest question; when are the physical items going to be sent out? Well, we were aiming for all the files to be at the printer this week, buuuuuut... We are still waiting on some art approval from Legendary and then we have layout to finish. I know this is a bit of a bummer, and I am sorry about that. With the holidays rapidly approaching as well, this slight delay means we may not begin shipping until February 2025. Not to fear! There is some good news in all of this. The printer has received all of the files necessary to start manufacturing the boxes, the dice, and the minis! I am so excited to get my hands on these items as I am sure you all are as well! The anticipation is mounting and hopefully that will quell some of the disappointment for the delay.
I want to make it a point to say how incredibly thankful we are for you all and all of the patience you have shown with this project. These things are never easy and require so much time, effort, and collaboration. It means so much that the gaming community is full of individuals who understand the creative process and that things can change. Timelines can be skewed. And all because of things out of our control sometimes; weather, war, sickness, holidays. So thank you again, for your kindness, generosity, and most of all, your patience. You all are amazing! :)
Art
Art is still coming along nicely, albeit at a slow pace. This does set us back a bit, but Legendary is the final say, so we are at their mercy. We have been preaching this since the beginning, but we cannot stress enough that we are reliant on outside resources for the completion of this project. Fingers crossed that we are able to button everything up within the next 6 weeks. We would love to get everything to the printer before the end of the year. Of course, I am not going to leave you without anything new, so take a look at some of the amazing work we have received since the last update!
