New Project: The Armory

Today we launched our first Gamefound project to support The Armory: The Ultimate Guide to Modern Weapons. Inspired by d20 Modern’s Weapons Locker, we promise that this book will be the most comprehensive modern-day arms supplement of its kind. You can find the link here.

What's In It?

The 250+ page supplement boasts over 700 modern-day weapons, armor, and equipment ranging from firearms to explosives to melee weapons. The weapons categories include: 

• Pistols
• Rifles
• Shotguns
• Sub-Machine Guns
• Grenades
• Heavy Ordinance
• Melee Weapons
• And Unorthodox Arms

No matter what year your game is being played, we have the perfect weapon for you. The book contains armaments from every modern-day era and beyond with weapons ranging from the 19th to the late 21st century. 

The book also contains stat blocks for shields, body armor, and special equipment. It gives you the tools to translate your favorite weapon into an in-game item.

5e Compatible

The Armory is made for the Everyday Heroes system, but will also be compatible with any 5th edition game. Want to bring a Keltec KSG Pump Action Shotgun into your fantasy game? Or pull out a Carl Gustav m/45 Submachine gun to lay out a Cthulhu from beyond? Perhaps you want to show off your collector’s edition Desert Eagle to your fellow Space Marines. Either way, this supplement is for you.

Hello Evil Backers, 

June is here and so is convention season! I hope everyone is having fun and taking care of themselves and if you are attending Origins, we cannot wait to see you there!

But you are here for that juicy update about the Legendary Bundle, so let me throw it at you:

Art:

The Creature Codex is ALMOST done! The fabulous David Chen has been toiling away on the beautiful artwork in this book and we are thrilled to see it nearing completion. It shouldn’t be too much longer, assuming that Legendary gives us quick approvals on all necessary items.

As for the other 3 books in this beast of a bundle, art is progressing and we even have some pieces awaiting Legendary approval… including 17 NEW and UNIQUE Kaiju for Pacific Rim: Dominion of Iron.

Writing/Editing:

Are you ready for some really great news?! Writing and editing is completed for all books and Legendary has given us the big stamp of approval. They were very pleased with what they read and we now have 350,000 words worth of Legendary Bundle written, edited, and ready for art/layout. If you thought that you would not have enough to read once your order arrived, guess again!

Layout:

For those who do not know, layout is the stage where the text and art come together and the book begins to form. As soon as we get all of the art assets ready to rock and roll for each book, these things will be ready to start getting assembled! We are so close and we cannot wait to get our hands on the finished product!

Projected Timeline:

For the moment you have all been waiting for… when will these books be done??? Well, if all goes according to plan (so let’s cross our fingers that it does), printing should be done by October 3 and then your packages will be shipped from China shortly after. This puts a target arrival date of  November 21st, 2024. Please keep in mind that these are TENTATIVE dates. This is the best case scenario right now assuming that everything falls into place the way that we hope. Remember that we rely heavily on Legendary’s approval for all assets related to these books. Let’s keep in good spirits and send good vibes to Legendary so that everything goes smoothly for them and us!

Production Update

Now that the bottleneck on approvals has been removed, we're working with the printers on cementing our timelines for product delivery. For our next update, we should have a concrete update for you on shipping timelines!

Hello Backers,

Just a quick clarifying update.

The Bestiary / Cryptid Codex has now been renamed "Creature Codex." The change was just approved by Legendary. Yes, it's included with your purchase of the Kong: Isle of the Damned Cinematic Adventure bundle. 

I've decided to repost and add a few more images. Below are two more approved images that we can show. We will resend the Rampart Turtle when we can. Enjoy

Hello Kickstarter Backers,

Kong x Godzilla: The New Empire

This weekend I had a chance to watch Kong x Godzilla: The New Empire in 3D and boy was it awesome. I won't give spoilers but it made me want to run a mashup between our Kong: Skull Island and Universal Soldier Cinematic Adventures very badly.
